One of the points to consider with regard to a good shock is, after all, that it should be reliable. If it is cared for properly your Öhlins shock will last just as long as your motorcycle, even if you ride a great deal, and then some more…

A good touring shock should be able to combine several things: it should be of very high quality and extremely durable, and it goes without saying that it should provide a pleasant and comfortable ride over many miles.

But at Öhlins, we are not content to stop there.

Our touring shocks also deal with top speed performance and therefore also tolerate more advanced riding. And even if you ride with a load and have a passenger, you can enjoy great comfort, high-speed stability, safe handling in corners, and everything else you are entitled to expect from an Öhlins Shock absorber.

To further increase the flexibility of the touring shocks they can easily be adjusted for a variety of load conditions.

Combining all these elements in one shock absorber is a technical achievement. When we are designing these shocks, we draw on all of the experience we have accumulated. This is combined with a process that is based on each individual touring bike that comes out on the market. Using exact measurements of the bike, comprehensive test-riding by professional riders, on both even and uneven roads, we develop the best shock absorbers available.

Touring Front Fork Springs
