Performance and diversity from Öhlins mark 2015 range

As the motorcycle market continues to diversify in Europe, so does Öhlins Racing with a wide line-up complimenting its cutting edge, core Performance products.

Öhlins unveil a truly diverse product range for 2015 reflecting the trends in the motorcycle buying industry. With products for the booming small capacity supersports sector, new Harley-Davidson ‘Blackline’ collection, Scooter Performance Line and expansive Off Road range, all complimenting an even wider two track hypersports strategy, there has never been a more diverse line-up of Öhlins products!

And you won’t just find the distinctive yellow springs and gold forks on the Öhlins stand at the European shows, the brand features heavily as ‘Original Equipment’ on manufacturers 2015 high end models and also as the ‘must use’ product in the ever evolving world of customising.

Öhlins Racing once more showcased its race track credentials in 2014, with another domination of the MotoGP standings lead by the prodigious Marc Marquez, to add another blue riband title for its Hall of Fame. The brand backed this up with numerous National series titles and a trio of wins at the iconic Isle of Man TT Races with BMW Motorrad and Honda victories at the hands of Michael Dunlop.

Still on two wheels but with a different sort of power, Öhlins has also made big strides in the world of Mountainbiking as they have a global partnership with industry innovators Specialized. In an exciting US-Swedish project, yellow shocks now adorn the Californian company’s high-end Downhill and Enduro machines after a rigorous testing programme in Europe and the USA.

With so much diversity and on track success, Öhlins celebrates these stories through its online magazine Performance (at www.ohlinsnews.com) and through regular updates on its Facebook page Öhlins Racing AB’.

Ola Lennström, Öhlins Marketing Manager commented;

“It has been another busy year for Öhlins on two wheels with a major development programme for new and further developed products for 2015. We have tested and refined our two different Hypersport shocks (TTX GP and RT) with a wide range of applications now available.

We have also achieved a significant milestone with Öhlins launching a new range of shocks for the smaller sports bikes and the new Scooter Performance Line, which are two growing sectors, and our tests have been very promising. We are also excited about our new Harley Davidson range where we have worked intensively on the settings and functions of these twin shocks, also with one eye firmly on the needs of this market, changing the design to make them visibly more attractive on these custom machines. So with all these new and revised products launching on the back of another fantastic motorsport year and with a new exciting partnership in Mountainbike we have much to look forward to in 2015!”
