Öhlins Racing is currently having a recall campaign of Öhlins aftermarket steering dampers.
The recall campaign affects Öhlins aftermarket steering dampers produced between September 2008 and June 2013. We have discovered a manufacturing defect in the brackets for these steering dampers.
We have therefore decided to recall all these brackets and replace them with new brackets.
If you are an owner of a motorcycle fitted with an Öhlins aftermarket steering damper you need to contact your local Öhlins distributor for further information if your steering damper is affected and how to get the bracket changed.
