ÖHLINS EXPANDS INTO THE UK MOUNTAINBIKE MARKET

Stockholm, Sweden – November 30th 2016 – Renowned suspension supplier Öhlins Racing, continue their push into the Mountainbike world with an increased product line-up and growing distribution network.

An official network of dealers and service centres in the UK will be supplied by the European distributor Öhlins Distribution and Test Centre (ÖDTC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Öhlins Racing AB, which is situated next to the Nürburgring in Germany (www.ohlins.eu).

The Swedish suspension brand is celebrating its 40th Anniversary year and has made no secret of its strong desire to continue their push into the exciting world of Mountainbike, using the experience gained in engine powered 2 and 4 wheel road and race activities.

After intense R&D, Öhlins first supplied shocks for Specialized machines as OE fitment, then turned their attention to the aftermarket world.

Launching a range of ‘Universal’ applications at the legendary Crankworx MTB event, these products are now being seen across the globe. Leading the line-up is the TTX 22 M Universal, an aftermarket shock absorber designed to handle the big hits and drops found on hardcore downhill circuits, yet still allowing pedaling efficiency for the inevitable flat and uphill sections on every ride. Available in seven different lengths and strokes.

For the fast growing Enduro segment Öhlins have the lightweight (340g) STX 22 Air Universal. The Universal is available in four different lengths/strokes with mounting hardware compatible with a majority of all available Enduro/trail bikes on the market.

At the front end of the bike, Öhlins have launched the RXF 36 Front Fork, the new, bigger brother to the revolutionary RXF 34. Implementing TTX Twin Tube technology into the fork, the RXF 36 is compatible with Boost 29”, 650b+, as well as some 650b frames.

These products can be purchased now in the UK from official Öhlins dealers, with servicing and warranty support by Öhlins trained specialist service centres J-Tech Suspension, Plush Suspension, Sprung Suspension, Sussed Out Suspension and TF Tuned.
