Japan is known for a lot of things. Toyota, Honda, and Suzuki to name a few. It’s also the place where the Tokyo Auto Salon show takes place, and after 14 years Öhlins Japan made a comeback. The three-day event took place at Makuhari Messe between January 10th – January 12th., being the biggest car show in Japan. If it’s popular? You can bet it is! Over the three day event, the show made room for a total of 336,060 excited petrol heads.
About the Tokyo Auto Salon show
Inbetween 800 gorgeous display cars and a total of 438 exhibiting companies, the visitors had a lot to look at. Out of all these exhibitors, Öhlins brought the Swedish Gold to Japan to wow the visitors. Behind a beautiful glassed display, we showcased a wide variety of our automotive shock absorbers together with a white Toyota GT86 in the center of the booth.
We hope that it doesn’t take another 14 years for the next Öhlins appearance.
