“From The Ash” supported by Öhlins

When Öhlins ambassador Nico Vink and filmmaker Ryan Gibb come to you with a project idea, you just know you need to support and the end result will be something truly spectacular!

In May of 2018 the Ute Park wildfire burnt 36,740 acres; a large swath of it was on the Philmont Scout Ranch where this film was made. Everything was shot in a controlled environment on private land during the winter in a recently scorched wildfire area. The crew was under the strict supervision of forestry professionals to ensure everything was executed safely. Fear not, there wasn’t a single live tree touched throughout the entire production.  The title, “From the Ash” is a metaphor for pushing forward as the world seemingly crumbles around you. For those who’ve lost, please don’t give up.

The end result is a beautiful new ride edit featuring Nico coming in hot aboard his rig equipped with both Öhlins DH38 m.1 forks and our matching TTX22m rear shock. The DH38 m.1 is our latest version of the high successful downhill fork, it is now even smoother and have improved damper adjustment. Read more about it here.

On the rear Nico is running the TTX22m; truly delivering performance that never ends. Over the years we have improved detail after detail to deliver a shock with race winning performance. Read more about it here.
