Hendersonville, NC, September 2 , 2020 – Although the usual capacity crowd of 400,000 fans wasn’t there to experience it, the Ӧhlins performance supension equipped team of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing put on a show at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on August 23, with drivers Takuma ”Taku” Sato and Graham Rahal finishing first and third, respectively. Sato qualified third and Rahal eighth for the annual NTT INDYCAR SERIES racing spectacle, which was postponed nearly three months by the coronavirus.

Sato’s win – his second in 11 Indy 500 starts – came after he captured the lead with 40 laps to go and fought off a late challenge from #2 qualifier Scott Dixon. Rahal, son of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing co-owner and 1986 Indy 500 winner Bobby Rahal, has now twice finished third in the Indy 500. He currently is 7th in NTT INDYCAR SERIES points and Sato is 4th.
