ÖHLINS NAMED EXCLUSIVE SUSPENSION PARTNER FOR 2026 DUCATI SUPERLEGGERA V4 CENTENARIO
UPPLANDS VÄSBY, 27 March 2026: Öhlins, a global leader in high-performance suspension solutions, has been named the exclusive suspension partner for the limited-edition 2026 Ducati Superleggera V4 Centenario.
As the only street-legal motorcycle to feature a carbon-fiber frame, swingarm, and rims, the Superleggera V4 Centenario is defined by its ultralight yet powerful design. To match the bike's unique specifications, Öhlins has developed a carbon-fiber front fork and lightweight shock absorber tuned to the platform’s extreme 1.48 hp/kg power-to-weight ratio. These components balance track-ready precision and agility with refined road handling, maximizing performance in any environment.
Urban Herslöf, Director of Engineering, Öhlins Group:
“The suspension for the Superleggera V4 Centenario marks an important achievement in lightweight engineering. By defying the traditional trade-off between mass and structural integrity, we have developed a shock absorber and front fork that withstand extreme performance demands while elevating the rider experience."
Öhlins TTX36 GP LW Shock Absorber
At the rear, the Superleggera V4 Centenario features an Öhlins TTX36 GP LW shock absorber, designed to bridge the gap between track and street performance. The shock incorporates MotoGP-derived hydraulic valves to enhance small-bump compliance and a lightweight spring made from ultra-high-tensile steel wire. This advanced material makes the spring 27% lighter than standard steel springs while retaining the functional performance and fatigue resistance required for aggressive riding.
By reducing the spring mass, this setup lowers both sprung and unsprung weight, improving dynamic response and handling characteristics. The result is a rear suspension system that delivers precise feedback and agility, allowing riders to fully experience the bike’s capabilities on road or track.

Öhlins NPX 25/30 Carbon Front Fork
On the front end, every aspect of the Öhlins NPX 25/30 Carbon fork is engineered to minimize weight without compromising performance. Derived from MotoGP technology, the 43 mm pressurized carbon fork is the first of its kind on a road bike, featuring machined-from-solid aluminum fork bottoms and carbon-fiber outer tubes.
The fork tubes are made with unidirectional carbon-fiber layers arranged to handle loads more efficiently in the primary stress directions. This weight-optimized design makes the fork 34% lighter than conventional solutions, providing heightened sensitivity and sharper feedback to inputs. Riders will notice an exceptionally nimble feel and responsive handling through technical corners and changes of direction.
Debuted at Circuit of the Americas on March 26, the 2026 Superleggera V4 Centenario is poised to be Ducati’s most exclusive model yet. With only 500 units set for production, the limited-edition release is a celebration of Ducati’s centennial, building on the Italian icon’s 100-year legacy of speed, innovation, and style.

Mark Spelthaen, CEO, Öhlins Group:
“Our partnership with Ducati is built on a shared commitment to redefining the boundaries of two-wheel performance. We are honored to contribute our latest innovations in lightweight suspension to the extraordinary Superleggera V4 Centenario and celebrate this milestone in our long-standing collaboration.”
