The STX46 Street shock for Yamaha FZ 8 and FZ 1 is equipped with a large 46 mm main piston, external gas reservoir, and a hydraulic preload adjuster.

 

With adjustable compression and rebound damping, you can change the behavior of the shock to suit your taste. Among the benefits of the external reservoir is that the shock can hold a larger volume of oil, keeping it cooler in extreme conditions and allowing for additional adjustability. The shock is also equipped with a hydraulic preload adjuster, allowing you to change the preload to accommodate weight variations—no tools required.
