WHICH TYPES OF FRONT FORKS DOES ÖHLINS OFFER FOR MOTORCYCLES?

Öhlins offers two main types of front forks for motorcycles: conventional telescopic forks, and inverted, or “upside-down” forks.

CONVENTIONAL TELESCOPIC FORKS

Conventional telescopic forks are comprised of inner and outer tubes, with the springs and damping mechanisms housed inside.

NIX TECHNOLOGY

NIX is our breakthrough technology for the front suspension. Used in many Öhlins front fork models, and also available as cartridge kits to upgrade your standard forks, NIX technology works by separating compression and rebound damping between each fork leg.
