This STX46 Blackline shock fits the Yamaha XSR 900 (2016-2021), Yamaha Tracer 9 (FJ-09) (2015-2017), and Yamaha MT-09 (FZ-09) (2014-2020). 

 

Featuring a large 46-mm main piston, the shock is equipped with an external hose-mounted reservoir. The advantage of having an external  reservoir is that it holds a larger volume of oil, keeping the shock cooler under extreme conditions. This configuration also provides additional adjustability. 

 

With adjustable compression and rebound damping, you can fine-tune the shock for your riding preferences. The shock also comes with a hose-mounted preload adjuster, allowing you the make adjustments for weight changes to maintain proper steering geometry.
