The RXC34 m.1 uses our XC-optimized OTX14 damper, a slim, lightweight design with a low-friction seal system for improved efficiency. It’s paired with a two-chamber air spring featuring a large negative chamber balanced with the damper’s characteristics across three ride modes: open, pedal, and lockout. This setup creates the initial movement needed for superior traction while maintaining predictable support when pushing hard. The large negative chamber increases sensitivity when seated and climbing, and can be fine-tuned with spacers in the piston rod at one of our MTB service centers.
The RXC34 m.1 is available with or without a remote connection. The remote version offers three ride modes and 16 clicks of rebound adjustment, while the manual version provides three ride modes, rebound, and 10 clicks of low-speed compression in the open mode. The remote layout allows a dropper lever to be mounted underneath and adjusts both front and rear suspension simultaneously. The system is designed for 7.5 mm of wire pull per position, making it compatible with remote levers from other leading brands. For even greater versatility, an available adapter with 5.5 mm of wire pull per click allows compatibility with the DT Swiss remotes used by Team BMC Racing.
As part of the Öhlins XC suspension system, the RXC34 m.1 offers easy adjustment of air spring progressiveness and stroke. With our race-proven settings bank, riders can fine-tune the fork to match their style and bike linkage. Developed in parallel with our TXCAir rear shocks, the RXC34 m.1 ensures an optimal front–rear balance. Whether you’re a seasoned pro, weekend warrior, or somewhere in between, combining the RXC34 m.1 fork with a TXCAir shock delivers confidence-inspiring performance that feels equally at home on the Olympic stage and your local trails.
