The TXC2Air shock brings enhanced precision and control to XC bikes with less progressive linkage designs. With a full range of stroke options, it’s built to push performance limits and inspire confidence on demanding cross-country tracks. Compared to the TXC1Air, optimized for shorter strokes, the TXC2Air offers greater versatility for a wider range of XC setups.


This version of the TXC2Air comes with a manual lever featuring three ride modes, rebound adjustment, and sixteen clicks of low-speed compression in the open mode. For riders seeking added flexibility, an adapter—designed for 5.5 mm of wire pull per click—enables remote compatibility.

 

Developed and tested on technical XCO terrain, the TXC2Air uses Öhlins’ race-proven TTX twin-tube technology for outstanding small-bump sensitivity and traction, delivering a smoother, more controlled ride. The damper’s serial shim stack improves efficiency in pedal mode, helping maintain momentum and speed over natural or man-made rollers.

 

The TXC2Air also features a rider-friendly system for adjusting air spring progressiveness and stroke, allowing easy travel and geometry tuning on compatible frames. Developed in parallel with our RXC34 m.1 fork, it forms part of a complete XC system designed for perfect front-to-rear balance. Whether you’re a seasoned racer or dedicated trail rider, the TXC2Air delivers confident, race-ready performance on any track.
